It is preferable for students to have their own instruments (small drums and Japanese drums can be used as practice drums, etc.) so that they can take lessons as usual,
If you do not have a drum, please bring sticks, mallets, or other bachi, as well as a practice board,
If you don't have a drummer, we can still help you with reading music, practicing rhythm, giving advice on expression, and so on.
(However, if you don't have sticks, mallets, or other sticks and mallets, as well as a practice table, we can give you advice on reading music, practicing rhythms, and expressing yourself.
(We can also give lessons by hitting an unneeded magazine with a stick, or by hitting a hand, knee, table, or cardboard box.)
If you want to have a lesson with a solid instrument, it would be better to use a music studio or the like.

I have a small child myself, so please understand that lessons are not available after 6pm on weeknights, and on weekends and holidays, I will be bringing my child.
(My children are usually quiet, but I am sorry if they start singing when they start having fun...lol...it would be fun to do lessons with small children...☆)

The warmth of the marimba wood can soothe you,
or feel passionate with aggressive playing,
or create a comfortable groove with an aggressive performance,
or refresh yourself by moving your body and speaking out loud with the Japanese drums,
or enjoy yourself changing!

By the way, taiko requires a strong support of the body,
If you don't have a good support system, your center of gravity will be off and you will get tired or hurt,
So, we always have time for stretching and body building before each lesson, especially for long term students.
We will proceed at a pace that suits the individual so that each student will have time for body building and stretching before touching the instrument!
(We always aim to go a little above your current limits!)

(We always aim to go a little beyond your current limits!) These instruments are difficult to get into shape in too short a period of time,
They are percussion instruments that can make a sound if anyone strikes them. That is why they are fun and exciting instruments!
That's why they are so difficult to make.
Seeking a sound that only you can make and that will move people's hearts...

I would be happy if I could help you make it from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 100.
I hope this time will be an exciting time for you.

Please feel free to contact me as I will be happy and serious!
Thank you very much.

Above all, I love the marimba, these instruments, and music!

This feeling of excitement when I listen to it.
The excitement of playing and strumming by myself.
The image I want to convey becomes a sound, and I can play as I wish,
When the audience is happy with tears in their eyes.
When the audience bursts into applause and cheers.
When they say thank you with a big smile on their face...
I feel very, very happy.

It is not just music that you can play well, it is music that conveys your feelings without words.
And the drums beating wildly and desperately are cool, too,
and the one shot with all one's heart and soul is also wonderful.

Percussion instruments are easy to make sounds, so they can be used to add a touch of elegance to the surroundings, but they can also easily become just noise,
It can also easily become just a noise.
They can make or break in an instant.
In an orchestra or brass band, there are many violins and clarinets,
Percussion instruments have only one percussionist. In other words, the responsibility of one person is heavy.

Each one of us should be a flower!
It is important to have such a feeling, to imagine, to express, and to communicate,
We take the time to carefully convey to them the importance of having such a feeling, the importance of imagining, and the need for skill to express and convey it.

First, try it for yourself! Japanese Drumming Beginner to In

Become familiar with and understand rhythm.
This course is designed to familiarize students with taiko, learn the basics, develop the necessary physical strength, and deepen their technique and expression.

I've always wanted to try taiko!
Stress relief!
I want to exercise, make loud thumping sounds, and work up a refreshing (muddy) sweat!

I've been doing it on my own in club activities or in a group, but I can't seem to get better...
I want to learn how to beat the drums in a reasonable and presentable way!

I want to be able to produce a sound with a core!

I'm petite, but I want to be attractive with a strong back!

I was told that my taiko sound has no singing spirit! What should I do?

I don't know the rhythm of this music, it's too difficult to play...

I'm going to play the Japanese drums in a concert!
I want to be able to play this song in a cool way!

I have to think of a rhythm for the song by myself, but I don't know how to do it...

I want to be a trusted taiko player!
I want to improve my sense of rhythm!

I yearn to play taiko at festivals...

I want to play at a wedding reception!

I tried it before and enjoyed it, so I want to know more about it! I want to continue!

I want to make friends for life!

I want to get better! etc.

Even if you don't have an instrument or a bachi, you can do call and response (imitation rhythm),
Try "body percussion," using your hands, knees, and body to beat the music,
We can decipher sheet music, give advice on how to practice difficult rhythms, and so on.
There are many things you can do to strengthen your sense of rhythm.

If you have a musical instrument, we can give you detailed insights and practice methods while actually playing the instrument!

To put it bluntly, I still wish I didn't have an instrument during lessons,
I can strengthen the rhythm, check the form, etc., but without the instrument, I can't give you tips on how to make the core of the instrument sound,
Without an instrument, you may be able to strengthen your rhythm, check your form, etc., but you won't be able to practice giving hints on how to sound the core of the instrument or get used to the bounce of each drum's skin.
This is a barrier to online lessons...
However, it is difficult to play marimbas and other instruments that have narrow targets and scales, especially if you don't have an instrument,
However, taiko has a wide target and a single note, so if you have a bachi and a target to hit, you can take most of the lessons!

(Especially for those who want to learn how to make a core sound, to get used to the instrument, or to participate in an audition or competition, it is preferable to have a musical instrument (either bring your own or take lessons from the studio).

Contact with rhythm and music in a fun and playful way,
Develop the muscles and strength necessary for taiko drumming,
We will polish your fundamentals, technique, and expressiveness!
Although it is a percussion instrument that is easy to play, it is a very deep instrument because of that.
It's easy to play, but that's why it's such a profound instrument.

For children to adults who want to become familiar with music through rhythm play,
Imitate rhythm (call and response) according to the level and situation,
clapping various hand claps to the music.

Sometimes we use "body percussion," in which children play by tapping their knees, stomping their feet, or using their bodies as percussion instruments, in addition to their hands.
