Profile

After studying clarinet at Musashino Academia Musicae, he worked on musicals and commercials. He then switched to jazz saxophone. He has played mainly tenor, alto, and soprano saxophones and hosted jazz live performances and jam sessions in the Tokyo metropolitan area. He has many of his own original works and arrangements, and released a leader album in 2013. In recent years, he has been trying new challenges beyond the framework of jazz, such as collaborations with painting and dance. As a saxophone instructor at several music schools, his lessons focus on jazz and pop music, and he can accommodate students from beginner to advanced levels, from basic techniques of the instrument to building ad-libs. She strives to provide kind and easy-to-understand lessons tailored to the feelings and needs of her students.

Currently he plays as an extra in brass bands and at events around Chiba and Tokyo, and teaches brass band at elementary and junior high schools. Studied saxophone under Toshihisa Ogushi and chamber music under Toshihisa Ogushi and Shiro Hatae. Profile

Born in Kochi Prefecture. Graduated from Kochi Marunouchi High School, Music Department, and Shobi Music College, Orchestral and Percussion Department. She studied saxophone with Kayo Kagini and the late Hiromi Hara. Studied chamber music under the late Hiromi Hara, Shiro Hatae, and Koichi Nakamura. Also studied wind band instruction while in school. Currently performs, teaches, assists, and makes guest appearances in Kochi Prefecture and other parts of Shikoku. He is a member of the "Tsutsuyama Quartet," a saxophone quartet focusing on jazz and pop music, and the "Libertá Ensemble," which pursues the possibilities of the saxophone regardless of genre or composition. He also teaches saxophone as well as brass band lessons as an instructor.

Yudai Adachi Profile Born in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. After graduating from Fukuoka Daiichi High School of Music, he went on to graduate from Showa University of Music with a special prize. After graduation, he studied at the Geigeki Wind Orchestra Academy (currently the Geigeki Orchestra Academy for Wind). Currently, in order to convey the charm of classical saxophone in the Kanto and Kyushu regions, he is engaged in various performance activities, including solo and ensemble concerts, guest appearances in wind bands and orchestras, and recordings of game music. He also gives private lessons and teaches wind ensembles to help nurture the next generation of saxophonists. He won the first prize in the woodwind division and the overall grand prix in the high school division at the 4th Fukuoka Prefecture Winds and Percussion Solo Contest. He took classes with Nobuya Sugawa at the 21st Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy. Performed in the Premium Concert recommended by the academy's instructors. Passed the 69th Tokyo International Arts Association Newcomer Audition and won the Best Newcomer Award (highest prize). Won the first prize in the university and general section of the 4th K Saxophone Competition, as well as the first prize in the Grand Prix. Winner of the Salzburg-Mozart International Chamber Music Competition 2019 Special Prize. Second prize in the wind instrument category of the 22nd Nagae Cup International Music Competition. Winner of the Excellence Prize at the 9th Sun Heart Ensemble Auditions. Winner of the Grand Prize at the 24th Kyushu Music Competition. While in college, passed an audition for a project sponsored by the Japan Federation of Musicians' Association and performed with the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra as a soloist. Shuji Koizumi (saxophone & music theory) The saxophone is an instrument that is relatively easy to play, but without knowledge of music, it is difficult to play as well as one would like. I will teach you how to play the saxophone, techniques, and the structure of the instrument, as well as the structure, history, and theory of music in detail and in a fun way. There are also exercises that are essential for those who want to produce a good sound with ease. We will also teach you how to make your own ligatures, arrangements, and many other things, so please feel free to ask me any questions. Saxophone is fun! Studied saxophone under Masato Ikegami and chamber music under Yoshiyuki Hattori at Senzoku Gakuen School of Music. After graduation, studied jazz technique and theory under Mr. Hiroshi Yamamoto at Mate Music Academy, and opened Petit Fontaine/c.b. Music School in 2000. He gives lessons to a wide range of students from elementary school students to adults. Many of her students have won awards at elementary, junior high, and high school brass band competitions, as well as competitions outside of Japan. He is well known for his deep understanding of music and easy-to-understand instruction. From the same period to the present, he has been performing at parties and public organizations with his saxophone trio "Cascade," trio "Tricotage" with piano, violin, and baritone saxophone, and duo "OIL & WATER" with saxophone and violin.
