Profile

Born on November 1, 1998 in Setouchi City, Okayama Prefecture, a town rich in nature. He grew up in an environment where he had access to a trumpet, clarinet, and piano because his father and mother played in a brass band during their school days. Upon entering junior high school, he joined the brass band club and began playing the trumpet in earnest. He thought it was cool to play piano accompaniment for choir competitions, and although he never took any piano lessons, he volunteered to run for the position and became a piano accompanist. He taught himself to play the piano, and the performance was a great success. After that, he continued to be exposed to music on the piano at home. For high school, he entered Okayama Gakugeikan High School because it was close to his home and because he wanted to participate in national competitions. While still in school, he experienced performing at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall in Germany, the Dvorak Hall in the Czech Republic, and the Smetana Theater as part of the brass band club's European concert tour. He also experienced various concerts regardless of genre, such as participating in ORANGE RANGE's national tour as a horn section. In 2017, he entered the Elisabeth University of Music, Department of Performance, majoring in wind, string, and percussion instruments. He studied trumpet under Katsutoshi Kameshima and Hiroki Yamashiro, and chamber music under Kazuyoshi Wakasa and Yumiko Hayashi. He also attended master classes with Friedrich Reinhold and Gabor Tarkevi. Since 2021, he has been a trumpet player of the Hybrid Wind Orchestra of the Iwami Music Culture Promotion Society.

Nice to meet you! My name is Keisuke Yasunaga. I am currently a music student. The advantages of taking my own lessons are I want to know what it is like to be an active music student. I am aiming to go to a music college or high school, but have not yet studied with a teacher and would like to test my skills and see what I can do. These are the above. We especially recommend this program for junior high and high school students! This is my first time teaching online, so I'm not used to it, but like the trumpet, we'll do our best together! Below is the profile of the instructor Keisuke Yasunaga Currently a first-year student at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, majoring in trumpet, after graduating from Kasukabe High School in Saitama Prefecture. He has studied trumpet under Hajime Tamoto, Yoshihiko Shigei, Kei Inoue, and Tomoyuki Hasegawa. He won the semi-incentive prize at the 2nd K Trumpet Competition.
