I am Mei Sugeno, a flutist living in Paris, France. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I teach people of all ages, from elementary school children to people in their 50s and 60s. In my lessons, I practice the basics of flute playing, while choosing and practicing pieces that match the level and desires of the students. Rather than imposing an instructor's ideal, I ask the student to first think about what kind of performance he or she wants to achieve, and then set assignments and exercises that will bring the student closer to his or her ideal performance.
