Nice to meet you and thank you for visiting... ♪ My name is Shoko Ogawa. I am from Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture, and I am a Kansai person who loves cats, BUMP OF CHICKEN, fortune telling, and eating. When I heard a performance by the brass band during a club activity tour at junior high school, I decided to join the club because I wanted to play with everyone like that! I decided to join the brass band because I wanted to be able to play with others like them. I knew nothing about the horn, but I was hooked on the fun of it and joined the brass band in high school as well. After entering Doshisha Women's University's School of Music, majoring in performance, I also learned the joys of orchestra. After graduation, I have been working on a short-time job while doing musical activities such as organizing concerts independently and teaching at music schools. I am sure that I can give you some advice as I am going through a lot of troubles. Let's enjoy playing the horn together! Studied horn under Hideki Yamamoto, Koji Nagai, Ken Kashiwabara, and chamber music under the late Yasuo Mori. In 2017 and 18, he participated in the Summer Horn Course in Czech Republic, taking lessons from Zuzana Rzounková of the Prague Symphony Orchestra, Jan Vobořil of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, and Esa Tapani, formerly of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. She is a member of the Kakogawa Musicians Association.
