Born in Niigata Prefecture, he started playing guitar in his teens and switched to electric bass at the age of 18 when he joined a label. Since then, he has been active as a bassist in rock bands, touring all over Japan, giving one-man live performances, distributing sound recordings nationwide, and appearing in various media. Since 2006, he has been working at a music school in Tokyo as an electric and wood bass instructor, teaching younger students, and also doing session work, supporting bands, and hosting jazz sessions. In recent years, he has also been focusing on creating original music.

Nice to meet you, I am Tamari Ito. She started playing contrabass at the age of 16. Graduated from the Department of Instrumental Music, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. She has performed in many concerts including Seiji Ozawa Music School and Miyazaki International Music Festival. She is active in a wide range of activities including orchestras, chamber music, and teaching. All levels from contrabass beginners to advanced players are welcome. If you have a large instrument that is hard to carry around, you can play it remotely at home! You can take remote lessons in the comfort of your own home. Although the contrabass is a behind-the-scenes player in an orchestra, we will enjoy giving lessons so that more people can learn the charm of the low tone of the contrabass.
