Trial Lessons
Trial lesson (20 minutes)
We strive to provide lessons that are a grade higher than just moving the fingers according to the score, such as what kind of tone is appropriate for the piece and how to use the hands to achieve that tone.
Please let us know your intentions, such as "I want a lot of praise in the lesson," "I want to play like this," "I want to be able to play that piece," etc. We will be happy to help you.
Regular Lessons
Piano Lesson (45 minutes)
Using the Hanon Piano Teaching Book, we will check the form and use of the hands and fingers. This is because when you learn how to play correctly, you will be able to produce clean and even sounds, and it will be easier to deal with difficult parts. It also makes it less likely that you will have hand malfunctions.
We will also work on the Burgmüller 25 exercises, Czerny 30 exercises, Sonatina album level pieces, and other pieces of the same level. We will provide lessons that will enable you to acquire a higher grade of expression while keeping the basic points in mind.
This lesson is based on the list of books and songbooks according to the difficulty level of ZEN-NOON, and corresponds to the level equivalent to beginner's level 1 and 2.
Piano Lesson (45 minutes)
In the first half of the lesson, you will study new content using a textbook (one book). Students will gradually learn how to read music.
In the middle part of the lesson, we will focus on technique (how to use your hands). By working on hand usage and sound production early on, students can expect to be able to play more difficult pieces in the future and to have a more beautiful tone in their everyday playing.
In the latter half of the lesson, students will work on "tunes" in accordance with the contents of the instructional book.
Piano Lesson (45 minutes)
This lesson will cover Bach Inventions, Bach Sinfonia, and Czerny No. 30 Exercise.
This lesson corresponds to the level equivalent to the 3rd intermediate course and the 4th intermediate course, based on the list of ZEN-NOON books and songbooks by difficulty level.
Piano Lesson (20 minutes)
At the beginning of the lesson, we use the Hanon Piano Instructional Manual and the Barnum Piano Technique to check the correct form and use of the hands and fingers. This is because when the correct way of playing is mastered, it is easier to produce clean and even notes, and to deal with difficult parts of the instrument. You will also be less prone to hand malfunctions.
The students will also work on the Czerny 30 Exercise, the Burgmüller 25 Exercises, and pieces comparable to these. The lessons are designed to help students acquire a higher level of expression while keeping the basic points in mind.
This lesson is based on the list of books and songbooks according to the difficulty level of ZEN-NOON, and corresponds to the level equivalent to beginner's level 1 and 2.
Piano Lesson (20 minutes)
In the first half of the lesson, students will learn something new using a didactic book.
In the second half of the lesson, we work on "songs" as an application. We may try songs that are perfect for the season or songs that we know.
